A while back, I asked:
I have an online-redeemable rebate form that I want to use when I make a purchase. Right underneath the amount of the rebate and my rebate code are the words:
"EXPIRES OCTOBER 14, 2007"
Now, I ask you, does that mean the rebate must be redeemed before October 14 or can be used through October 14? The vendor's interpretation was in the small print, but I'm curious if everyone agrees with that. Please vote and tell me what you think. In a few days, I'll post what the vendor meant.
Here are the results to that survey:

Thank you for voting and for agreeing with me! The wording of this rebate should mean that the rebate can be used on October 14. BUT...the big reveal...Apple, the rebate issuer, didn't agree. The small print on the rebate form said:
"expires 11:59 P.M. October 13, 2007"
Unlike the statement above, this line was in small print in the middle of the rebate form in the middle of a sentence in the middle of a paragraph...in other words, it was buried. Twits. I wonder how many people were burned by that. Luckily, I read the small print about 11:40 P.M. and quickly placed my order to redeem the rebate. But shame on Apple for playing shenanigans like that!
